The Guardians (The Beaudreau Series Book 1)
About
Twenty-eight years ago, humans barely survived a four-year war with the Nomad. We rebuilt. We were stronger! But you know how they say never get too comfortable …
JESSE - The Nomad were like cockroaches that wouldn’t die. The time had come for humans and Kreans to work together to stop their slave trade. We needed to end this. We needed to squash the Nomad like the bugs they were. But to accomplish that I had to get on a damn warship. I’m not exactly looking forward to being stuck in space in a tin can. Add Prime Zersus to the mix and I’m in trouble. Have you seen that guy?
ZERSUS - Supreme Commander requested we return to the home we shared with humans, much to my chagrin. On the journey back, we encountered pieces of a sinister plot orchestrated by the Nomad. WHY ARE THEY BACK? They won’t leave the humans and my people alone. One particular Nomad had an unhealthy obsession with one human. A gorgeous female human I couldn’t avoid. Especially while she was on my warship and I had been ordered to work with her and her team.
Jesse and Zersus were neither the type who needed, let alone asked, for help. They were forced to combine Jesse’s SPAR team with Zersus’ Aries crew to fight a universal nemesis. Add to that enough sexual tension between these two to ignite a flame. It’s probably a good thing fires couldn’t survive in space.
If you enjoy a dose of Star Trek with a dash of Battlestar Galactica paired with romance inspired by Anna Hackett’s Galactic Gladiators series, you will fall deeply for the characters in the introduction of the ongoing Terra Alliance stories. We begin with the found family tales of the Beaudreaus. Enjoy the ride.
